RoHS statement

Download

RoHS, or Directive 2002/95/EC, is a regulation that applies to electrical and electronic products (EEE) and restricts the use of certain hazardous materials. It originates from the EU and requires all applicable products sold in the EU after July 1, 2006 to be RoHS compliant. RoHS-compliant products must not contain excessive amounts of restricted materials, including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), with some limited exceptions. These materials are harmful to the environment and pose health risks during production and recycling. At Thermo-Electra we work according to these guidelines in order to guarantee the health of both our employees and third parties.
