The IRO-community
The Dutch Offshore Energy supply industry is in the top 5 worldwide. As a trade association, IRO is an independent non-profit organization that represents the interests of its 350 member companies. Its mission is aimed at strengthening the international position of its members as leading suppliers in the upstream oil, gas, offshore renewable and marine energy industries.
The IRO includes both multinationals and SMEs that represent the entire supply chain within the offshore energy industry. These include activities in the areas of Engineering & Consultancy, Construction & Manufacturing, Plant & Equipment, Contracting & Installation, Exploration & Production and Personnel & HSE.
IRO offers its members a wide range of services, ranging from maintaining relationships between government and NGOs to facilitating networking opportunities within the IRO community. This also includes participation in international trade missions and fairs, as well as sharing Business Intelligence and new technologies.
